St. Mary’s appreciates food drive support

St. Mary’s Church, Keyport, held a food drive this past holiday season to benefit the Keyport Food Pantry. Dozens of boxes of food, along with dozens of turkeys, were donated to the pantry.

St. Mary’s would like to thank all its members, and their families and friends who helped in the effort to supply the food bank with much needed food. It would also like to thank Memorial Preschool, Union Beach, for its food drive at a Christmas program; as well as Summit Bank and Fidelity Bank, both of Keyport; and McDonald’s of Matawan.

Let us not forget there are over 100 families in our community alone who need food every day throughout the year, not just at the holidays. Please remember the Keyport Food Pantry all year long.
