Episcopal church raises money for Rally for a Cure
     Trinity Episcopal Church, Matawan, recently raised $2,660 for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and Rally for a Cure at its first golf outing June 7 at Pebble Creek Golf Club, Colts Neck. The event drew 94 individuals including 54 golfers.

Park system plans hike, pro baseball game trips

     The Monmouth County Park System will host a "Family Cattus Island Hike" on July 21 at 9 a.m. The hike is for individuals age 10 and older (under 18 with a parent), and will be a 2-mile trek. Cost is $18 per adult, and $10 per child (ages 10-17); hiking boots are recommended.
