Parks to offer Mets trip and children’s odyssey The Monmouth County Park System will sponsor a bus trip to the Mets vs. Phillies game July 29 at 10 a.m. Cost is $45 which covers transportation and ticket, and preregistration is necessary. The bus will depart from Thompson Park, 805 Newman Springs Road, Lincroft section of Middletown. "Sun & Sails Odyssey" is scheduled July 30-Aug. 3 from 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Thompson Park. The program is for children age 12-13 and cost is $235. The program will feature a paddling clinic on Marlu Lake, a canoe trip down Cedar Creek, rock climbing at Allamuchy Mountain State Park and sailing at Manasquan Reservoir.
