Two Keyport residents
arrested on drug charges

KEYPORT — Following a two-month investigation and numerous complaints from neighbors, the Bayshore Narcotics Task Force arrested two residents on drug charges at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 6.

Rebecca Burlew, 24, and Curtis Mitchell, 28, both of 23 Myrtle Ave, Apt. 3, were charged with possession of cocaine, possession with the intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a park zone, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Mitchell’s bail was set at $10,000 with no 10 percent option. He was transported to Monmouth County jail in Freehold. Burlew was released without bail.
