Aberdeen Republican Club to meet June 18 The Aberdeen Republican Club will hold its next meeting June 18 at 8 p.m. at the Court Jester, Route 34, Aberdeen. The public is welcome to attend. Vietnam Veterans Memorial Foundation, Holmdel, will present "The Coast Guard in the Vietnam Era" June 15 at 1 p.m. at the Vietnam Era Educational Center, Holmdel. A $5-per person donation is suggested. The program will feature the documentary Ngung Lai/Operation Market Time, and will be followed by a discussion led by New Jersey Vietnam veterans who served in the U.S. Coast Guard. Brush & Palette Art Guild to meet June 18 The Brush & Palette Art Guild, Keyport, will conduct a business meeting June 18 at 7 p.m. at the James Cullen Building, 1776 Union Ave., Hazlet. Chamber of Commerce plans card exchange The Matawan-Aberdeen Chamber of Commerce will hold its next meeting and card exchange June 18 at 6 p.m. at Buttonwood Manor, 845 Route 34, Matawan. Hazlet recreation offers magic, music and more The Hazlet Recreation Commission will sponsor cardio-kickboxing classes for adults Mondays and Wednesdays beginning July 1. The eight-week classes will run 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Cullen Center, 1776 Union Ave. Cost is $40. Each attendee must bring a mat or towel, water bottle and light (3-5 pounds) hand weights. There will be a $5 charge for registering after June 28. The recreation commission will also offer a bus trip to see My Fair Lady July 6 at 8 p.m. at the Paper Mill Playhouse, Millburn. The bus will depart from the library overflow parking lot. Tickets are $45 each and registration is required. "Jungle Robotics" for children ages 7-12 will be offered July 7 and 9. Cost is $100 for the workshop in which youths will construct a robot. "Travel on Platform 9 3/4" will be offered for children in grades 1-3 July 29-31. Cost is $85 for the "magical mystery tour" of the Harry Potter novels. Both programs will be held at the Cullen Center.
