Keyport business group lists calendar of events

The Keyport Business Alliance has announced its 2003 calendar of events, to begin with the Memorial Day parade May 25.

The "Antique & Classic Car Show" will be held June 18, and concerts sponsored by the Keyport Recreation Commission will be held each weekend throughout the summer. The "Americana Festival of Sails and Chowder Cook-Off" will be held July 5 and 6, and the Aug. 1 "Battle of the Bands" will kick off the "Mid-Summer Street Fair" Aug. 1-3. An "Antiques & Collectibles Street Festival" will be Sept. 7, and the "Keyport Country Jamboree & Chili Cook-Off" is scheduled for Oct. 4-5. A new car show will be held Oct. 18. Holiday festivities will begin with the tree-lighting ceremony Nov. 29, continue with "Breakfast With Santa" Dec. 6, 13 and 20, and end with the "Pearl of the Bayshore Candlelight House Tour" Dec. 13.
