Author lecture at Vietnam center July 26

The New Jersey Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial Foundation will host a lecture by Patricia Farawell Enyedy, author of A Redcatcher’s Letters From Nam: Reflections of Family and Friends July 26 at 1 p.m. at the Vietnam Era Education Center, Holmdel.

A $5 per person donation is suggested. Enyedy’s brother, Pfc. George T. Farawell, was sent to Vietnam in 1969 and was assigned to the 199th Light Infantry Brigade, or the "Redcatchers." He served eight weeks and fell victim to a land mine. The author shares the 25 letters written by her brother to his family.

Reservations are required. To R.S.V.P. or for more information, call (732) 335-0033.
