John Armin Noe

Mr. Noe, 101, of Hazlet died Oct. 16 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in Munich, Germany, he resided in Parlin before moving to Hazlet 10 years ago. Mr. Noe was a chief steward with the Merchant Marines for 40 years, retiring in 1967. He was a hotel management graduate, educated in Zurich, Switzerland. He was predeceased his wife, Julia Kubeck Noe, in 1985; and a son, Armin Noe. Mr. Noe is survived by a son, John J. Noe of Powhatan, Va. Mr. DeCicco, 80, of the Belford section of Middletown, died Oct. 21 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in South Or­ange, he resided there prior to moving to Belford 47 years ago. He was a postmaster at the U.S. Postal Service, Englishtown, for sev­eral years, retiring in 1980. Prior to that, he was a letter carrier and postal supervisor at the Middletown Township post office. He served with the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. He was a communicant of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, New Monmouth section of Middletown. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 2179, Port Mon­mouth section of Middletown, the Marine Corps League, and the National Association of Letter Carriers. He was predeceased by four brothers, Joseph DeCicco, Angelo DeCicco, Richard DeCicco and Edward DeCicco; and a sister, Angelina Grasso. He is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Alexander and Pam DeCicco of Texas, Anthony and Jenny DeCicco of the Lincroft section of Middle­town, and Albert and Eileen DeCicco of Vin­cenza, Italy; two daugh­ters, Georgia Anne Perry and Theresa DeCicco, both of Belford; a brother, Anthony DeCicco of Allamuchy; five sisters, Virginia Troncone, Dorothy Gior­dano, Mary O’Conz and Lucy Zecca, all of South Orange, and Elizabeth Flynn of Toms River; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was offered at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, New Monmouth section of Middletown. Arrange­ments were by John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown.

Helen S. Krasinski Wasilewicz

Mrs. Wasilewicz, 83, of Middletown died Nov. 9 at home. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she resided in Irvington prior to moving to Middletown in 1965. She was a factory worker at Lilly Tulip, Holmdel, before her retirement. Prior to that, she was employed at RCA, Harrison. Mrs. Wasilewicz was predeceased by her husband, Teddy Wasilewicz, in 1990; and a son, Thaddeus Wasilewicz, in 1999. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Wallace and Carol Wasilewicz of Beachwood; a daughter and son-in-law, Christine and William McCann of Middletown; a daughter-in-law, Paula Wasilewicz of Middletown; five grandchildren; and one great-grandson. Visitation will be Nov. 12 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown. A funeral gathering will take place Nov. 13 at 8:45 a.m., followed by a funeral liturgy at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, New Monmouth section of Middletown. Walter R. McGill

Mr. Mc Gill, 82, of Matawan died Nov. 9 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he resided there before moving to the Old Bridge/Matawan area in 1964. He was superintendent of library, buildings, and construction at Brooklyn Library, retiring in 1987. Prior to that, he worked at Electronic Enterprises, Newark, and was a firefighter at Engine Station No. 278, Brooklyn, for 22 years, retiring as captain in 1965. Mr. Mc Gill served with the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of U.S. Submarine Veterans of World War II, and the Jersey Aero Club, Wall Township. He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Weiss Mc Gill; a son, Barry Mc Gill of Doylestown, Pa.; a daughter, Susan Armellino of Freehold; three sisters, Helen Busby of Levittown, Pa., June Mc Gill of Winter Park, Fla., and Florence Marsh of Ocala, Fla; two stepsons, Robert and Victor Weiss, both of Old Bridge; five grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren. Visitation will be Nov. 12 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, Old Bridge. A funeral service is scheduled for Nov. 13 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Glenn L. Harding

Mr. Harding, 37, of Middletown died Nov. 8 at home. Born in Florida, he resided in Staten Island, N.Y., before moving to Middletown three weeks ago. He was a marketing manager at John Wiley and Sons Publishing, Hoboken, the past three years. He enjoyed time with his family, and was an avid sports fan. He was predeceased by his father, James Harding. He is survived by his mother, Adeline Scutari Harding of Florida; two sons, Thomas and Daniel Harding, both at home; and a brother, Christopher Harding of Old Bridge. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Nov. 12 at 9:15 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Keyport. The Day Funeral Home, Keyport, is in charge of arrangements.

Haberski Kucmyda

Mrs. Kucmyda, 87, of Keansburg died Oct. 21 at Bayside Manor, Keansburg. Born in Linden, she had been a resident of the Middletown area since 1958. She was a seamstress for several companies for 25 years, retiring in 1988. Mrs. Kucmyda was predeceased by her husband, Charles Kucmyda, in 1991; a sister, Lillian Konecni; and a brother, Victor Haberski. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Roberta Kucmyda of Hazleton, Pa.; three daughters, Barbara Thayer of Tinton Falls, Dolores Uras of Middletown, and Linda Gould of Marlton; a brother and sister-in-law, Richard and LaVerne Haberski of Emerson; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was offered at St. Catherine’s Roman Catholic Church, North Middletown. Burial was at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Middletown. Arrangements were by John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown. Memorial donations may be made to American Diabetes Association, North Central Regional Chapter, 200A Cottontail Lane, Somerset 08873.
