Volunteers needed for Family Fun Day Aug. 20

The Volunteer Center of Monmouth County, Oakhurst section of Ocean Township, is seeking volunteers for "Family Fun Day" Aug. 20 from 4:15-6:15 p.m. in Red Bank. Needed are six to eight volunteers at least 14 years old.

A mentor is needed to assess the needs of Job Corps students, offer information, referrals, advice or support based on the Job Corps student’s needs, report assistance provided to the Job Corps student on forms provided by the regional office, follow-up to reinforce and provide additional assistance or support. Minimum age is 18.
