Theresa M. Dietrich

Mrs. Dietrich, 69, of Middletown, died Aug. 6 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in Newark, she resided there prior to moving to Middletown 33 yeas ago. She was a bank manager at First Union Bank, Belford section of Middletown, for 25 years, retiring six years ago. She was a communicant of, and Eucharistic Minister at St. Catherine’s Roman Catholic Church, Middletown. She was also a member of the its Altar Rosary Society. She was predeceased by a brother, William Donoughe; and a sister, Patricia Arcaro. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Joseph Dietrich; a son, Joseph Dietrich of Middletown; a brother and sister-in-law, Leo and Irene Donoughe of Edison; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Margaret Hughes, Bernadette Fraser, and Kathy and Vincent Jankowski, all of Middletown, and Maryanne and Richard Esandrio of Sayreville; a sister-in-law; and a brother-in-law. A funeral liturgy was offered at St. Catherine’s Church. Arrangements were by John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown. Mildred P. Plum Russell

Mrs. Russell, 79, of Keyport, died Aug. 16 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in Virginia, she resided in the Aberdeen and Keyport area the past 10 years. She was a homemaker. Prior to that, she was employed at Surray Luggage, Red Bank, and Helene’s Dress Shop, Shrewsbury. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald Russell in 1990. She is survived by two sons, Donald Russell of Little Silver, and Hamilton Russell of Sea Bright; two daughters, Connie Russell of Brielle, and Patricia Dirner of Morganville; a brother, Joseph Plum of Idaho; and five grandchildren. Visitation will be Aug. 18 from 10-11 a.m. at Day Funeral Home, Keyport. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m., followed by interment at Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth.Edward J. Musantry

Mr. Musantry, 76, of Ocean Township died Aug. 11 at St. Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Born in New York City, he resided in Matawan before moving to Ocean Township 11 years ago. Mr. Musantry was a records manager at Drexel Burnham Lambert, New York City, for 42 years, retiring 14 years ago. He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He is survived is by his wife, Lorraine Nelson Musantry; a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Albert Del Maestro of the Lincroft section of Middletown; two sons and daughters-in-law, Edward and Linda Musantry of Oceanport, and James and Nancy Musantry of Pennsylvania; a sister, Dorothy Bornatici of Old Bridge; and four grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Jerome’s Roman Catholic Church, West Long Branch, followed by interment at Woodbine Cemetery, Oceanport. The Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch, was in charge of arrangements. Antoinette Durrett

Mrs. Durrett of Middletown Township died Aug. 14 at Palisades Medical Center, Guttenberg. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Daughters of American Revolution, the Greek Orthodox Ladies Philoptochos Society, and the Spotswood First Aid Women’s Auxiliary. Mrs. Durrett was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Durrett, in 1982. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Edward Durrett-Filusch of West New York; a son and daughter-in-law, William and Nancy Durrett; a brother, James Stamas of the Lincroft section of Middletown; and seven grandchildren. Visitation will be Aug. 18 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A funeral liturgy will take place Aug. 19 at 11 a.m. at Kimisis Tis Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church, Holmdel. Mr. Castellano, 78, died Aug. 11 following complications from Parkinson’s disease. Born in New York City, he resided there prior to moving to Hazlet 47 years. He was a senior de­sign engineer and draftsman at Gibbs & Cox Inc., New York City, for 39 years, retiring in 1987. He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a communicant of St. Benedict’s Roman Catholic Church, Holmdel, where he was a member of its lector’s society, cantor society, and men’s choir. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Jean "Jennie" Castel­lano; five daughters and sons-in-law, Diane and Roy Churchman of Manasquan; Carol and John DeLibero of Harrison, N.Y.; Marie and William Bonomo of Cortlandt Manor, N.Y.; Regina and Bret Jefferson of Jackson; and Jeanine and Kirk Anderson of Howell Town­ship; two brothers and one sister-in-law, John Castellano of Edison, and Vincent and Nancy Castellano of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandson. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Benedict’s Church. Interment was at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Keyport. Arrangements were by Day Funeral Home, Keyport. Helen H. Wojouwodzki Stocker

Mrs. Stocker, 82, of Matawan, died Aug. 11 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in Newark, she resided in Clark and Elizabeth prior to moving to Matawan several years ago. She was a floor girl at Salmon Pa­per Box Co., Matawan, for three years, retiring in 2002. She was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Keyport. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Senior Citi­zens. She was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Wojouwodzki. She is survived by a daughter Barbara Stocker of Morganville; and a son, Douglas Stocker of Matawan. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Joseph’s Church, with interment at the church cemetery. Arrangements were by Day Funeral Home, Keyport.
