MAHON, 76, of Holmdel died Dec. 6 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in Weehawken, he resided in Freehold prior to moving to Holmdel 19 years ago. He was a retail and corporate vice president at Associated Dry Goods Incorporated, New York City, for several years, retiring in 1986. He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a communicant of St. Catharine’s Roman Catholic Church, Holmdel. He is survived by his wife, Helen Crine Mahon of Holmdel; two daughters, Mary Margaret Mahon of Dallas, Texas, and Susan Mahon of Holmdel; his son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Carolyn Mahon of Warwick, N.Y.; his brother, John Mahon of Richardson, Texas; his sister, Julia McClernon of Marsville, Pa.; and four granddaughters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Dec. 11 at 10 a.m. at St. Catharine’s Roman Catholic Church, Holmdel. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Keyport. DAVID K. CZESNIK of Union Beach died Dec. 1. Born in Jersey City, he resided in the Port Monmouth section of Middletown before moving to Union Beach 19 years ago. He was the owner and president of Custom Electrical Designs for 25 years. He was a member of King of Kings Lutheran Church, Middletown. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Mystic Brotherhood No. 21, Red Bank. His activities included skydiving, scuba diving, and going to the beach. He is survived by his parents, Joseph and Joan Czesnik of Port Monmouth; a sister and brother-in-law, Roy and Eileen Czesnik of Middletown; and three nieces. A memorial gathering will be held Dec. 5 from 7-9 p.m. at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown. A memorial service will be held Dec. 6 at 10 a.m. at King of Kings Lutheran Church, Middletown. She was born in the Bronx, N.Y. Mrs. Walker was a member of St. John’s United Methodist Church, Hazlet. She was a member and former president of Eagle Hose Women’s Auxiliary, as well as the Keyport Seniors and Hazlet Seniors. Mrs. Walker was predeceased by her husband, Edmund F. Walker, in August; and two sons, Donald Arthur Walker and Robert John Walker. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Arthur E. and Nancy M. Holliday of Ridge Manor, Fla.; her brother-in-law, Donald H. Walker of Matawan; and several nieces and nephews. Interment was at Shoreland Memorial Gardens, Hazlet. ROSSI JR., 56, of Parlin, formerly of Hazlet, died Nov. 29 at home. Born in Newark, he had resided in Hazlet before moving to Parlin 12 years ago. Mr. Rossi was an in-house salesman at Benedict Miller, Lyndhurst, for five years. He was also a professional drummer and saxophone player for more than 30 years. He served in the U. S. Army National Guard. Mr. Rossi is survived by his wife, Susan Marshall Rossi; two sons, Vincent M. Rossi and Robert Moccio; and his daughter, Shauna Moccio, all of Parlin; his parents, Vincent and Catherine Rossi Sr. of Toms River; and his sister, Carol Maciliawn of Kearny. Burial was at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Old Bridge. HARRIET F. CARLSON, 66, of Ormond Beach, Fla., died Nov. 23 at Memorial Hospital, Ormond Beach. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she resided in the Belford section of Middletown several years prior to moving to Ormond Beach. She worked at Publix Supermarket, Ormond Beach, until recently. Prior to that, she was employed at Foodtown Supermarket, Atlantic Highlands, retiring in 1992. She was a former communicant of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, New Monmouth section of Middletown. She was a lifelong member of the Meat Cutters Union of New Jersey. She was also a member and officer of the Ormond Beach Moose Lodge, and an ex-member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 2179, Port Monmouth section of Middletown. She is survived by two daughters, Gail Cranick of North Carolina, and Ann Tompkins of Florida; four sons, William Carlson of Florida, Robert Carlson of Port Monmouth, and Glenn Carlson and Michael Carlson, both of Belford; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. ROBERT A. MORGAN, 43, of Keansburg died Nov. 28 at home. Born in Red Bank, he was a lifelong resident of Keansburg. Mr. Morgan was a concierge at a cooperative building in New York City. Prior to that, he worked at Radio City Music Hall, New York City, and at Cafe Bar and Restaurant, Long Branch. He was a communicant of St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church, Keansburg. Politically active, he previously served as a councilman and deputy mayor for the Borough of Keansburg, commissioner for the Keansburg Municipal Utilities Authority, and was the Keansburg Democratic municipal chairman. He was also a current member of the Monmouth County Democratic Executive Committee, Keansburg Board of Health, Keansburg Recreation Committee, and the Save the Bay Committee. He served as a campaign manager in borough council elections, where he had been a campaign worker since his early teens. He was a delegate, shop steward and sergeant-at-arms for the International Service Employees Union Local 32. His volunteer activities included Ronald McDonald House and Clean Ocean Action. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Mary Haviland Morgan; and two brothers, James Morgan and Sonny Morgan. He is survived by four brothers, Richard Morgan of Middletown, Dennis Morgan of California, Daniel Morgan of Pennsylvania, and Jack Morgan of New Jersey; five sisters, Cathy Quilty and Patricia Cryan, both of Florida, Elizabeth Liu and Lorraine Kearny, both of Long Branch, and Carol Parsons of Keansburg. PAUL PERRICONE, 63, of Union Beach died Nov. 3 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in Newark, he resided there before moving to Union Beach 30 years ago. He maintained the ticket book at Keyport Fast Ferry. Prior to that, he worked for the Hazlet Board of Education for 11 years, retiring in 2001; and worked 26 years for Eastern Airlines, Newark, retiring in 1989. He served with the U.S. Navy. He was a communicant of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Union Beach. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Elizabeth "Liz" Wittmann Perricone of Union Beach; two daughters and one son-in-law, Pamela and Benjamin Curry, and Angela Perricone, all of Union Beach; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Frank and Irene Perricone, and Joe and Janet Perricone; a sister, Theresa Rubano; two brothers-in-law; a grandson; and several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Union Beach. Interment was at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Keyport. PEGGY ANN SHEEHAN, 60, of Middletown died Nov. 2 at home. Born in Asbury Park, she had lived there and in Hazlet before moving to Middletown 32 years ago. Mrs. Sheehan worked at Keansburg Pharmacy several years, retiring in 2000 due to illness. Prior to that, she was a saleswoman at Toby’s Stride Rite, Middletown, for several years. She was a communicant and member of the Rosary Altar Society of St. Catherine’s Roman Catholic Church, Middletown. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 2179, Port Monmouth section of Middletown. She and her husband coached the first girls’ soccer team in the Middletown Youth Athletic League. She served as a Girl Scout leader and was a member of the Deacon Wives Association, Trenton Diocese. Mrs. Sheehan is survived by her husband of 40 years, Kenneth R. Sheehan; her mother, Loretta Bennett of Hazlet; two daughters and one son-in-law, Kathleen Sheehan of Middletown, and Theresa Sheehan Haddad and Eric Haddad of East Berlin, Pa.; her son, Kenneth Sheehan Jr. of Wake Forest, N.C.; her brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Casey Bennett of Sailorsburg, Pa.; and one grandson, Anthony Montanaro of Middletown. A funeral service was held at St. Catherine’s Church, followed by entombment at St. Joseph’s Mausoleum, Keyport. RENEE ANN BARTUCCI DELLA, 33, of the West Keansburg section of Hazlet, died Nov. 7 at home. Born in Hoboken, she lived in the Port Monmouth section of Middletown prior to moving to West Keansburg 11 years ago. She was a secretary at GNO Abstracts, Freehold, for three years. She was predeceased by her father, Andrew Bartucci, and a sister, Barbara Ann Schwartzman. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Vincent Della, and a son, Joseph Anthony Bartucci, both at home; her mother, Marion Dysan Bartucci of West Keansburg; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Michelle and Andy Sabo of the Cliffwood section of Aberdeen, Carol Hunt of Middletown, and Donna and Dave Pappas of West Keansburg; and three brothers, Jim Bartucci of East Keansburg, Dave Bartucci of Middletown, and Charles Bartucci of Keansburg. A Jehovah’s Witness funeral service and a Roman Catholic liturgy were both offered. LUZ M. SANTIAGO COLON, 89, of Red Bank died Nov. 9 at Avante at Red Bank. Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, she resided in Middletown before moving to Red Bank three years ago. Mrs. Colon was a housekeeper at New York Hospital, New York City, for 18 years, retiring in 1975. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Colon. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Mary Lou Colon of Middletown; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Interment was at St. Raymond’s Cemetery, the Bronx, N.Y. JULIUS "JULE" SROKA, 86, of Middletown died Nov. 9 at the home of his daughter. Born in New York City, he lived in Jersey City before moving to Middletown 19 years ago. He worked as an assembler at Western Electric, Kearny, for more than 40 years. He was a member of the Western Electric Pioneers of America. He was predeceased by his brother, Joseph Sroka; and two sisters, Josephine Murphy and Mary Sanchez. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Krolak Sroka of Middletown; two daughters and one son-in-law, Donna M. and James Massett of Middletown, with whom he and his wife lived, and Theresa Pelletier of Sayreville; a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph J. and Rosemary Sroka of Brick; a sister, Irene Faas of Blairstown; and six grandchildren. BRUNO, 70, of the Cliffwood section of Aberdeen, died Dec. 1 at home. Born in Fords, she resided in Cliffwood the past 51 years. She was the owner/operator of Bruno’s General Store, Cliffwood, which she opened 51 years ago. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph A. Bruno Sr. She is survived by three sons, Gary Bruno of Cliffwood, Joseph A. Bruno Jr. of Manalapan, and Dennis Bruno of Matawan; two daughters, Sharon Bruno and Felicia Bruno, both of Cliffwood; her sister, Joan Coleman of Maryland; her brother, Bob Miller of Perth Amboy; and three grandchildren. Born in Scranton, Pa., she had been a resident of Keyport for more than 50 years. Mrs. Dibble was predeceased by her husband, Stanford, in 1997; and a daughter, Betty Regan, in 2001. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Jackowski of Daytona, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Entombment was at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens. GUY WILLIAM SARNA, 44, of Middletown died Nov. 7 at home. Born in Providence, R.I., he lived there and in Edison before moving to Middletown six years ago. Mr. Sarna was the owner and operator of American Jewelry and National Chain, Middletown, for 18 years. He was a coach for New Brunswick Pop Warner Football and Edison Pop Warner Football. Mr. Sarna is survived by his wife of 18 years, RayAnne Endter Sarna of Middletown; two daughters, Jillian Sarna and Alexandra Sarna, both of Middletown; his son, Salvatore Sarna of Middletown; his mother, Mary Waldron of Johnson, R.I.; his father and his wife, Salvatore and Rose Sarna of New York City; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Elena and Henry Clodius of Seekonk, Mass., Stephanie Freeman of California, and Heather Waldron of Johnson, R.I.; and two brothers, William Waldron of Riverside, N.Y., and Fabrizio Sarnacchiaro of Brooklyn, N.Y. MARGARET ANN "PEGGY" SHEA SCHWARZ, 69, of Eatontown died Nov. 9 at home. Born in Fieldsboro, she lived in Little Silver and Rumson prior to moving to Eatontown in 1987. She was a supervisor of text processing at Lucent Technologies, Holmdel and West Long Branch, for 26 years, retiring in 1988. She was a communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank. She was a life member of Pioneers, Lucent Technologies Penn-Jersey Chapter No. 132, and a member of SCAN, Eatontown. Her activities included opera and classical music, and membership in wildlife organizations. She was also an avid gardener. She is survived by her husband, Charles S. Schwar; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. Thomas M. and Tricia Beam of Wall Township, and Richard L. and Doreen Beam of Tinton Falls; her stepson and his wife, C. Frederic and Theresa Schwarz of the Belford section of Middletown; her stepdaughter and her husband, Joanne and James Coleridge Jr. of Atlantic Highlands; five grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
