The Thorne Middle School boys cross country team has won the division for the second year in a row with an undefeated record. This accomplishment is a testament to the team spirit, wonderful coaching and guidance of Don Fadden. These 49 boys, made up of sixth-, seventh- and eighth-graders, won the Northern Division Monmouth County Cross Country All-Star Meet, held at Holmdel Park, with John Nardini (seventh grade) taking first place, Michael Norton (seventh grade) finishing second, and Justin Derasmo (eighth grade) taking third.
