Edward Washileski

Mr. Washileski, of Middletown, died March 13 at Green Acres, Fla. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he resided in Middletown the past 50 years. He was an electrical engineer for the U.S. Government at Fort Monmouth, Eatontown, before his retirement. He served with the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. He was a communicant of St. James Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank. He enjoyed golf, swimming, cycling and travel. Mr. Washileski was predeceased by his first wife, Marjorie Raeder, in 1998; and two sisters, Rose Duwe and Helen Dral. He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Helen Rayan Washileski; two daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and James Bradberry of St. David’s, Pa., and Susan and Robert Crawford of Chester Springs, Pa.; and five grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. James Church, followed by interment at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown. Arrangements were by John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 2550 Route 1, North Brunswick 08902.

Paul C. Gasior Jr.

Mr. Gasior, 73, of Spring Hill, Fla., died March 25 at Bayonette Point Hospital, Hudson, Fla. Born in Jersey City, he resided in Highlands and Matawan prior to moving to Spring Hill one year ago. Mr. Gasior was a manager at Amax Specialty Metal, Florham Park, before his retirement. Prior to that, he was a manager at G.T. Sylvania for several years. Mr. Gasior is survived by his wife, Sophie Caso Gasior; two sons and daughters-in-law, Paul and Marsha Gasior of Keyport, and Michael and Patricia Gasior Sr. of Brick; a daughter and son-in-law, Anne and Don Johnson of Wall Township; and four grandchildren. A funeral service will be held March 31 at 9:30 a.m. at Day Funeral Home, Keyport. Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Middletown.

Ann F. Davey Kozlowski

Mrs. Kozlowski, 80, of the Morgan sec­tion of Sayreville, formerly of South Amboy, died March 6 at home. Surviving are her husband, Edward "Hank" Kozlowski; a daughter, Judy Wallace of Bradley Beach; a son, Edward Kozlowski of New York City; a brother, Arthur Davey of Holmdel; a sister, Margaret Lazar of Boca Raton, Fla.; and four grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Mary’s Church, South Amboy. Interment was in Christ Church Cemetery, South Amboy. Edward C. Sheehan

Edward C. Sheehan, 81, of Middletown died March 28 at home. Born in Jersey City, he was a lifelong resident of Middletown. He was a truck driver at Wilson Freight, Eliza­beth, for 25 years, retiring in 1972. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He was predeceased by his wife, Theresa Cafiero Sheehan in 1979. He is survived by six daugh­ters and four sons-in-law, Theresa and Richard Zacharenko of Hague, N.Y., and Barbara and William Alexander, Denise and Anthony De­Vito, Joanne and the late Daniel Commisso, Anne and Kenneth Rotolo, and Patricia Shee­han, all of Middletown; 17 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. A funeral gathering will be March 31 at 8:45 a.m. at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown. A funeral liturgy will follow at 9:30 a.m. at St. Cather­ine’s Roman Catholic Church, Middletown. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.

Salvatore "Sammy" Traina

Mr. Traina, 92, of Hazlet died March 27 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in Newark, he resided there before moving to Hazlet 33 years ago. Mr. Traina was a longshoreman and a member of the International Longshoremen’s Association, Port Newark, for 48 years, retiring in 1984. He was a communicant of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Hazlet. He enjoyed gardening. Mr. Traina is survived by his wife, Frances Traina; a daughter and son-in-law, Rosalie and John Caruso of Hazlet; a brother and sister, John Traina and Concetta Lopicollo, both of Sicily, Italy; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered March 31 at 9:45 a.m. at Holy Family Church. The Day Funeral Home, Keyport, is in charge of arrangements.

Agnes V. Dundon McNamara

Mrs. McNamara, 96, of Keyport died March 16 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in New York City, she resided in Queens, N.Y., prior to moving to Keyport 31 years ago. Mrs. McNamara was a homemaker. Prior to that, she was a clerical office worker at MetLife Insurance Co., New York City. She attended Jesus the Lord Roman Catholic Church, Keyport. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward J. McNamara, in 1953. She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. Edward J. and Harriet McNamara of Keyport, Thomas and Olga McNamara of Los Angeles, and Jack and Janet McNamara of Barnegat; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at Jesus the Lord Church. Arrangements were by Bedle Funeral Home, Keyport. Helen A. Schlosser

Mrs. Schlosser, 87, of Middletown died March 18. Born in Newark, she resided in Red Bank prior to moving to Middletown several years ago. She was a receptionist at United Teletech, Tinton Falls, before her retirement. Prior to that, she was secretary to the president at Gray and Roger Advertising Agency, Newark, and secretary to the commissioner of the Department of Parks and Public Property in Irvington. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church at Red Bank–Tower Hill. Mrs. Schlosser was predeceased by her husband, Irwin Schlosser, in 1985. She is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Interment was at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown. The John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank, was in charge of arrangements. Gertrude Mottola

Mrs. Mottola, 87, of Middletown died March 18 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she resided in Staten Island, N.Y., and Brick prior to moving to Middletown two weeks ago. Mrs. Mottola was a homemaker. She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Louis Mottola, in 1992. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, John and Patricia Mottola of the Belford section of Middletown; a daughter, Marylou Bianchini of Novato, Calif.; a sister, Ann Stavola; two brothers, William Tinghitella and Steven Tinghitella; and five grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was offered at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, New Monmouth section of Middletown, followed by burial at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township. Arrangements were by John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown.

Evelyn A. Goetze King

Mrs. King, 79, of Keyport died March 23 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in Newark, she resided in Edison for 40 years before moving to Keyport four years ago. Mrs. King was employed in sales at Mandee’s, Edison, for 15 years, retiring in 1995. She was a communicant of Jesus the Lord Roman Catholic Church, Keyport. She was predeceased by her husband, Peter J. King Sr., in 1979. Mrs. King is survived by a daughter, Evelyn Cote-King of Keyport; two sons, Peter J. King Jr. of Seffner, Fla., and Timothy P. King of Keyport; a brother, Thomas Norman of Medford; and six grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at Jesus the Lord Church. Arrangements were by Day Funeral Home, Keyport.
