     The Keyport High School baseball team remained in contention for an NJSIAA Central Jersey Group I playoff berth until a 4-2 loss to Middletown North eliminated them, but several young players have distinguished themselves, making for a bright future for the Red Raiders.

     The Hazlet Recreation Commission will be sponsoring two girls basketball camps, July 26-30 and Aug. 16-20, at Raritan High School. The cost of each camp is $100 and includes a T-shirt.
