Business Briefs Diane Turton Realtors will hold a "Three-in-One Grand Opening" Sept. 30, 3-7 p.m., to celebrate its three new office locations: 600 Route 35 south, Middletown; 174 West Sylvania Ave., Neptune City; and 810 Deal Road at Route 35, Ocean Township. The event will feature food, dancing, and a tour of the three offices; two buses will run "round-robin" between the office locations every 15 minutes. The New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants will present a conference, "Navigating the ‘New’ IRS," Sept. 21, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the PNC Bank Arts Center, Holmdel. The conference will provide information and practical strategies for dealing with the evolving structure of the Internal Revenue Service and the IRS’s new audit program. The cost is $199 for NJSCPA members and $299 for nonmembers. The organization will hold a health-care conference Sept. 29, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the Pines Manor, Edison. Sponsored by NJSCPA and the Healthcare Financial Management Association, the conference is designed for health-care practitioners, financial professionals, and administrators who want to ensure that the organizations they serve are prepared, compliant and as profitable as possible. Topics to be covered include Medicare modernization, leveraging outsourcing to improve revenue stream, risk-based auditing and implications for Sarbanes-Oxley, and the top 10 tax issues for tax-exempt health-care organizations. The fee is $229 for NJSCPA members and $329 for nonmembers. Weichert, Realtors’ Middletown office announced that sales associate Graeme Atkinson was recognized with a regional award in the category of new home dollar volume for the month of July. The region is comprised of 20 Weichert offices throughout Ocean, Monmouth an Middlesex counties. A member of Weichert’s Sales and Marketed clubs, Atkinson qualified for the New Jersey Association of Realtors 2002 Circle of Excellence Sales Club at the silver level. Atkinson earned membership in Weichert’s President’s Club in 2002, recognizing him in the top 1 percent of the company’s 13,200 sales associates, and was named Realtor-Associate of the Year in 2001 by the Monmouth County Association of Realtors. In addition, the Middletown office was recognized in the regional category of new home dollar volume. Two River Community Bank has announced the formation of a Residential Mortgage Division. As an important new part of the bank’s product offering, the mortgage division has been tasked by the President and CEO Barry B. Davall with providing the best terms available to new and existing customers of the bank. The mortgage division is led by Joseph Marczak, an industry veteran with over 16 years experience in both mortgage banking and real estate.
