10th annual ‘Greenway Walk’ in Holmdel Jan. 1

The Holmdel Environmental Commission will hold its 10th annual New Year’s Day “Greenway Walk” Jan. 1 from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. beginning at the shelter building at Holmdel Park.

Families are welcome to take part in the free walk along the Ramanessin Brook Conservation Area (formerly the Chase property). If there is snow, walkers may bring cross-country skis or snowshoes, or wear snow boots. Walks are led either by Holmdel Mayor Larry Fink; environmental commission chairman, Tom Spang; vice chairwoman, Roberta Kaufman and/or Ralph Blumenthal.
