Entries now accepted for M’town art shows
     The Middletown Department of Parks and Recreation is accepting applications for its 48th annual adult art show, with entry deadline March 8. The show will be March 12 from noon to 4 p.m., and March 13 from 1-4 p.m. at Croydon Hall, 900 Leonardville Road, Leonardo section of Middletown.

     The Monmouth County Park System will offer “Hoops of Fire Earrings” for adults Jan. 24 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost is $21 for the class (materials list will be provided). Attendees will create hoops, drops, dangles, coils or swirl-shaped earrings.

Cars need to be off roads during snowstorms
     Township of Middletown Chief of Police John F. Pollinger is requesting local residents keep cars off all streets during snowstorms and bad weather. This will enable the township plows to clean streets properly and safeguard children to and from school by giving residents an open road.
