Correction

In the Sept. 21 article “Officers Interview Top KBA Officials,” an error was made in which quotes were mistakenly attributed to Keyport Business Alliance President Michael Norris. The statements incorrectly attributed to Norris were actually made by former KBA President Jeff Fink. Throughout the article, which reported excerpts from a recording of a closed-session meeting of the KBA, Norris was incorrectly reported to have been interviewed by Monmouth County detectives, and quotes about the situation were attributed to Norris. It was actually Fink who was interviewed by Monmouth County detectives and spoke about the matter at the meeting. The Independent regrets the error.
