Christine Edwards ABERDEEN — The search continues for a Red Bank woman who went missing on Feb. 10 from the Aberdeen home of her sister.

Christine Caroline Edwards, 55, inexplicably left the house of her sister and brother-in-law between 6:30 and 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 10 and has not been heard of since, according to Ed Fitzgerald, Edwards’ brother-in-law.

Edwards suffers from schizophrenia for which she takes medication to treat. According to Fitzger-ald, she left it behind when she left the house.

We hope that if somebody sees her, or speaks to her they notify the Aberdeen police,” Fitzgerald said. “She will more than likely be in need of medical care for her condition.”

Fitzgerald described her as 5 feet 7 inches tall and 120 pounds. She has brown, shoulder-length hair that is slightly graying and green eyes. She was last seen wearing gray sweatpants and a blue hooded sweatshirt that read “Abercrombie” along the front, Fitzgerald said.

Fitzgerald said that it is completely unlike her to walk off without her medication and not contact anyone.

“Hopefully she’s spent those nights indoors,” Fitzgerald said of the nearly two weeks she’s been missing, “and whoever she is staying with will notify police.”

Anyone with any information is urged to call the Aberdeen Police at (732) 566-2054.
