Stella Fasinski

Mrs. Fasinski, 92, of Keansburg, died May 6 at Bayside Manor, Keansburg. Born in Perth Amboy, she resided in Middletown, prior to moving to Keansburg one year ago. She was a retired technician at Perkin Elmer, Shrewsbury, and Interdata. Prior to that, she was an inspector at Lavoie Labs, Marlboro. She was a Rosie the Riveter in Linden during World War II. She was a communicant of St. Catherine's Roman Catholic Church, Middletown. She was a charter member of Atlantic Highlands Historical Society. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Joseph in 2003. She is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be May 10 from 7-9 p.m. at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown. A funeral liturgy will be May 11 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Catherine's Church, followed by burial at Sacred Heart Cemetery, South Amboy.

John J. Krusis

Mr. Krusis, 65, of Middletown, died May 1 at home. Born in Elizabeth, he moved to Middletown in 1952. Mr. Krusis was a contractor and builder, and a licensed building inspector. He had also been an ironworker with Local 373, Perth Amboy, before his retirement. He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank. Mr. Krusis is survived by his wife, Marie; his stepchildren, Fran Olla of Seattle and Rick Olla of Georgia; a sister, Maryann Murray; a granddaughter; and a nephew. The Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank, was in charge of arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the Monmouth County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, 260 Wall St., Eatontown 07724.

Irene N. Kowalski Germinder

Mrs. Germinder, 87, of the Morgan section of Sayreville, died April 24 in Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Her husband, Frank J. Germinder, died in 1979, and a son, Donald McGloan, died in 2002. Surviving are a son, Robert McGloan of Morgan; two daughters, Carol McGloan of Sayreville and Dona Natale of Matawan; a daughter-in-law, Veronica McGloan of Morgan; two sisters, Olga Morgan and Rose Deragon, both of California; and three grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Mary's Church, South Amboy. Interment was in Christ Church Cemetery, South Amboy.

Victoria Pennetti Rappa

Mrs. Rappa, 90, of Freehold, died April 29 at home. Born in North Arlington, she had lived in Matawan and Ocala, Fla., before moving to Freehold six years ago. She was active in breeding, raising and showing collies and Shetland sheep dogs from 1947 until 1975, when she retired. She also owned and operated a day-care center in Matawan. During her retirement, she acquired a great deal of knowledge and skill in the breeding and care of canaries. While in Florida, Mrs. Rappa was a member of the West Marion Moose Lodge No. 2356, Ocala, where she was a senior regent of Chapter No. 1929 for two years, from 1992-93. She was also a communicant of St. Robert Bellarmine Roman Catholic Church, Freehold Township. She was predeceased by a sister, Iva Englemann, and five brothers, Angelo, Alexander, Lesander, Chester and Aloisious Pennetti. Surviving are her husband, Stephen J. Rappa; three daughters and a son-in-law, Elaine Farrell Quillin and Walter Quillin of Benicia, Calif., Colleen Farrell Walker of Old Bridge and Victoria Farrell Dorsch of Beloit, Kan.; a son and daughter-in-law, William W. and Ann Farrell of Hopkinsville, Ky.; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Keyport, followed by entombment at Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth. Day Funeral Home, Keyport, was in charge of arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) of Central Jersey, 141 Bodman Place, Red Bank 07701.

Edward J. Meredith

Mr. Meredith, 64, of Matawan, died May 3 at home. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he resided in Matawan the past 20 years. He was a CPA and sole practitioner in Matawan. He was a communicant of and usher at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Keyport. He is survived by two sons, Edward W. Meredith of River Vale, and Daniel S. Meredith of North Brunswick; two daughters, Susan Manhire of Colts Neck, and Lori Watts of Allen, Texas; and six grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Joseph's Church, with burial at the church's cemetery. Arrangements were by Day Funeral Home, Keyport.

Gene J. "Genevieve" Sinnott

Mrs. Sinnott, 84, died May 5 at home. Born in Orange, she had resided in the Iselin section of Woodbridge for the past 52 years. Prior to retiring in 1986, she was employed as a library assistant at DeVry Technical Institute, Woodbridge, for many years. She was a communicant of St. Cecelia's Roman Catholic Church, Iselin. Mrs. Sinnott was predeceased by her husband, James Sinnott, in 1998, and a sister, Diane Gesullo. Surviving are three daughters and a son-in-law, Barbara J. Zak of Dunellen, Jane E. Sinnott of Iselin, and Patricia and Glenn Stott of Matawan; a son, James E. Sinnott III of West Long Branch; a brother, Jerry Gesullo of Whippany; and three grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, Avenel section of Woodbridge, followed by a funeral liturgy at St. Cecelia's Church. Entombment took place at Clover Leaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge. Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army, 433 State St., Perth Amboy 08861.
