Keyport High School has received a $500 grant from the ExxonMobil Educational Alliance Program to support the high school. Principal Dr. Miguel Hernandez stated the grant will be used for the "Students of the Month" program.

Trinity Rehab, Matawan, has announced the opening of its second facility at 500 Route 35 south, Middletown. The facility is headed by Michael Rizkalla, OTR/L; Robert Tucker, MSPT; and Johanna Lothian, PT. The staff performs comprehensive rehabilitation for injuries, postsurgical cases and pain complaints. Wachovia Bank and the Lakewood BlueClaws have awarded a $10,000 2006 "Educational Winners Circle" grant Parents of Autistic Children (POAC), Hazlet. Grants are awarded to nonprofits in Monmouth and Ocean counties that provide enhanced educational opportunities for underserved youth. Applications were submitted at the beginning of the baseball season and reviewed by Wachovia's charitable contributions department and BlueClaws management. Through the program, Wachovia and the BlueClaws contribute 10 cents from every ticket sold from BlueClaws' home games. The BlueClaws and Trenton Thunder donate 5 cents from every ticket sold during their respective seasons and Wachovia Bank matches each donation from the two ballparks.

Parents of Autistic Children (POAC) has been providing services since 1999. Funds from the grant support "Project Pipeline" in training teachers and paraprofessionals over a one-year period to better serve children with autism.

Lauren N. Vicidomini, Middletown, a portfolio manager at Executive Property Management, North Brunswick, achieved the Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) distinction, administered by the National Board of Certification for Community Association Managers, and the Association Management Specialist (AMS). She is a member of the Community Association Institute Chapter of New Jersey.

Rose Hill Cemetery Company, Matawan, will hold its annual meeting Nov. 15 at 1 p.m. at Cross of Glory Lutheran Church, 95 Cambridge Drive, Aberdeen.

Matawan-Aberdeen Chamber of Commerce will hold a lunch meeting Nov. 21 from noon-2 p.m. at Bella Sera Restaurant, Plaza 34, 1070 Route 34, Matawan. Susan Plumacker of Amboy National Bank will discuss how "New Electronic Banking Services Can Enhance Your Business." All business individuals are invited. Dr. Wayne A. Aldredge, D.M.D., of Bayshore Periodontics & Implant Dentistry, Hazlet, has been installed as a trustee of the American Academy of Periodontology. The Holmdel resident now serves on the national governing body of the academy as a representative for the membership of New York and New Jersey, and represents approximately 700 periodontists in this district. Aldredge is also vice president of the New Jersey Society of Periodontists. He received his bachelor's degree at The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, Pomona, and his dental degree at University of Medicine and Dentistry New Jersey Dental School, Newark. He completed an advanced education in a general dentistry program at Moncrief Army Community Hospital, Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. Aldredge also maintains a private practices in Nutley. Aldredge and his wife are parents of two children.

The Jersey Shore Association for Human Resources will sponsor the 2006 annual employment law seminar Nov. 16 from 8 a.m.-noon at Branches, 123 Monmouth Road, West Long Branch, with registration deadline Nov. 10. Topics will include employment law developments, preventing and addressing retaliation claims under New Jersey and federal law, and preparing for a pandemic event. Presenters will be Frank Alvarez, Gregory Alvarez and Richard Cino, partners at the law firm of Jackson Lewis LLP.
