Lavan, Belasco extend thanks to supporters in Hazlet

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the people of Hazlet who voted for us in this election. We are proud you have chosen us to represent you. In this midterm election the Hazlet voters came out in record numbers with a clear message: "We want a change in the leadership of Hazlet."

Hazlet Township will now have a Democratic-controlled Township Committee. Along with Committeeman Jim DiNardo, we pledge to work hard with a single focus - providing Hazlet with the best representation possible.

This means providing a transparency in conducting township business. This allows everyone to see business is conducted openly, honestly, and with the interests of the township residents in mind. We will work to prove ourselves worthy of the trust you have given us with your vote. We look forward to working with our fellow members of the Township Committee and are confident that with hard work and perseverance Hazlet will flourish.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the fine people who worked hard to help us in our campaign. Without their support we could not have won this election.
