Harry Francis Roberts

Mr. Roberts, 92, of Keansburg, died Dec. 3, 2006, at Bayside Manor Nursing Home, Keansburg. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and resided there most of his life. He was a retired dock foreman at the New York City Department of Sanitation. He served with the U.S. Army for four years during World War II. He is survived by his wife, Adelaide Beltrone Roberts; a son, Frank A. Roberts of Abingdon, Va.; two daughters, Loretta A. Oettinger of Middletown, and Marie Roberts Russo of Brooklyn, N.Y.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A funeral liturgy will be Dec. 6 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, New Monmouth section of Middletown. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Brooklyn. Arrangements are by John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown.

George Riehl

George J. Riehl Jr., 72, of Howell, died Nov. 18, 2006, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Newark, he had lived in Elizabeth, Roselle Park, Matawan and Rumson before moving to Howell in 2005. He was a baker with the Bakery and Confectionery Union, Local 50. Mr. Riehl was predeceased by a brother, Frederick Riehl in 2004; and two sisters, Elvira Bujdos in 2001, and Betty Davidson in 1986. Surviving are a brother, Robert Riehl of Freehold; a sister, Florence Carr of Asheville, N.C.; and many nieces and nephews.

Robert Neil Brown

Mr. Brown, 75, of Colts Neck, died Nov. 29, 2006, in Belford. Born in Bogota, he resided in Cliffwood Beach before moving to Colts Neck, where he lived for 33 years. Mr. Brown was the owner of Brown Fence Co., Belford, from 1960 to 2000. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife, Ella Petrillo Brown; a daughter, Deborah Keegan of Forked River; and one grandson. Services were held at the John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown. The funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Gabriel's Historic Church, followed by entombment at St. Gabriel's Cemetery, both in Marlboro. Letters of condolence may be e-mailed to pflegerfh@aol.com.

Theresa A. Safner Daniewicz

Mrs. Daniewicz, 76, of the Cliffwood section of Aberdeen, died Dec. 4, 2006, at Bayshore Health Care, Holmdel. Born in Milltown, she resided there prior to moving to Cliffwood in 1955. She was a homemaker. She was a member of senior citizens groups in Aberdeen and Keyport. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter Daniewicz in 1994. She is survived by a son, Ronald Daniewicz of Keyport; a daughter, Kathleen De La Villa of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; two sisters, Ann Bruni of Spotswood, and Joann Thompson of Largo, Fla.; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be Dec. 6 at 11 a.m. at Day Funeral Home, followed by entombment at Holmdel Mausoleum.

Theresa Grace King Lunardo

Mrs. Lunardo, 84, of Keyport, died Nov. 29, 2006, at Regency Park Nursing Home, Hazlet. She was born in Jersey City. She was a homemaker. She was a communicant of Jesus the Lord Roman Catholic Church, Keyport. She was predeceased by her husband, John Lunardo in 1984; a sister, Eileen Holmzuk; and a brother, Jimmy King. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, John and Margaret Lunardo of Hazlet; a daughter, Lynne Lunardo-Redmer of San Juan Capistrano, Calif.; and three grandchildren. Visitation will be Dec. 8 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Day Funeral Home, Keyport. A memorial Mass will be Dec. 9 at 10 a.m. at Jesus the Lord Church.

Anthony T. Rusignuolo

Mr. Rusignuolo, 71, of Hazlet, died Nov. 23, 2006, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in Newark, he was a lifelong resident of Union Beach prior to moving to Hazlet five years ago. He was a contractor at Silverton Yachts, retiring 15 years ago. Prior to that, he owned Union Beach Block Company, and Triple R Pools, Union Beach. He served with the U.S. Army National Guard. He was a former Pop Warner head coach, and manager of the Babe Rut Union Beach Beachers which won the Circuit Championship and District II Tournament during the 1970s. He was predeceased by a brother, Michael Rusignuolo Jr.; a sister, Leonore Dolly Barbara; and a nephew, Daniel Rusignuolo. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Rusignuolo; three sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Nancy Rusignuolo, and Anthony and Kara Rusignuolo Jr., all of Union Beach, and Andrew and Marilyn Rusignuolo of Middletown; two daughters and sons-in-law, Priscilla and Frank Araneo of Union Beach, and Sylvia and John Stratton of Fort Pierce, Fla.; four sisters and one brother-in-law, Ida Leonard of Hazlet; Anna and Santo Padre of Palm Coast, Fla.; Theresa Tomica of Jupiter, Fla.; and Frances Tetro of Melbourne, Fla.; a brother, Joseph Rusignuolo of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; and nine grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Union Beach. Burial was at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Keyport. Arrangements were by Day Funeral Home, Keyport.

Eugene J. Sheehan

Mr. Sheehan of Middletown died Nov. 23, 2006, at home. Born in the Navesink section of Middletown, he was a lifelong resident of Middletown. He was employed at Public Service Electric and Gas for 32 years, retiring in 1980. He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II in the European and Asia Theatres. He was a communicant of and usher at St. James Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank. He was a 25-year member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 2179, Middletown. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary; and three brothers, P. Joseph, Dennis and John Sheehan. He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Joy and Gary Thacker of Jackson, and Maureen and Jack Campbell of the Leonardo section of Middletown; two sons and daughters-in-law, Eugene and Susan Sheehan of Connecticut, and Dennis and Diane Sheehan of Middletown; and eight grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. James Church. Arrangements were by Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank. Memorial donations may be made to Ned Robinson Scholarship Fund, Red Bank Catholic High School, 94 Broad St., Red Bank 07701.

Henry W. Klitsch

Mr. Klitsch, 94, of Sarasota, Fla., died Nov. 30, 2006, at The Inn at Lake Point Woods, Sarasota. Born in Newark, he resided in Union, Livingston, and 18 years in the New Monmouth section of Middletown, prior to moving to Sarasota in 1973. He was a supervisor at the central office of New Jersey Bell Telephone, Newark, for 45 years, retiring in 1973. He was a lifelong member of the Lions Clubs in Livingston, Middletown and Sarasota; and a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. He volunteered for Meals on Wheels, Sarasota. He was predeceased by his wife, Genevieve Burgess Klitsch in 1973; and a son, John Klitsch in 1950. He is survived by two daughters, Valarie Lowing of Middletown, and Leigh Love of Dallas, Texas; a son, William Brad Klitsch of Mequon, Wis.; a sister, Eleanor Osborne of Inverness, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was held at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, New Monmouth section of Middletown. Burial was at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Middletown. Arrangements were by John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown.
