Christina Cecero, Middletown, has been named to the dean's list for the fall semester at Elmira (N.Y.) College, where she is a student in the class of 2008. A speech and language disabilities major, she is the daughter of Phyllis and Anthony Cecero.
Matthew Ewald, Lincroft section of Middletown, has been named to the dean's list for the fall semester at West Virginia University, Morgantown, where he is majoring in pre-medicine. He is a member off the Chimes Honor Society and National Society of Collegiate Scholars. A graduate of Middletown High School South, he is the son of Barbara and Jeffrey Ewald.
Rebecca Susan Meyer, Hazlet, has been named to the dean's list for the fall semester at The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, Pomona, where she is majoring in mathematics. She is also the recipient of a Presidential Scholarship, and a member of the Honors Program. A 2005 graduate of Marine Academy of Science and Technology, Sandy Hook, she is the daughter of Susan and Arthur Meyer.
Christine Papania, Middletown, has been named to the dean's list for the fall semester at Westminster Choir College of Rider University, Princeton, where she is a music education and voice performance major. A 2006 graduate of Middletown High School North, she is the daughter of Irene and Anthony Papania.
Middletown resident Bridgette P. Parks was named to the dean's list for the fall semester at the Sellinger School at Loyola College, Baltimore.
Kevin R. Parks, Middletown, has been named to the deans' list for the fall semester with a 4.0 GPA at S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse (N.Y.) University.
Middletown resident Sheigh E. Perkins has been named to the dean's list for the fall semester at the College of Arts and Sciences at Seton Hall University, South Orange.
Lauren Walsh, Holmdel, has been named to the dean's list for the fall semester at Quinnipiac University, Hamden, Conn.

Daniel Campis, Holmdel, majoring in film at the College of Visual and Performing Arts;
Heather Imerman, Matawan, majoring in television, radio and film at S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications;
David Hayward, Lincroft, majoring in accounting and finance at Martin J. Whitman School of Management;
George Dawson, an accounting and finance major at Whitman School of Management; and
Kevin Parks, Middletown, a finance major at Whitman School of Management.
Theresa Assini, Aberdeen, has been inducted into the Golden Key International Honour Society at The College of New Jersey, Ewing. A graduate of Matawan Aberdeen Regional High School, Aberdeen, she is the daughter of Loretta and Joe Assini.
Jessica Gatdula, Matawan, has completed the associate alumnae of Douglass College extern program at Douglass College of Rutgers University, New Brunswick. The program lasts one to two weeks and provides Douglass students with real-world experience in the field of work the student has chosen or is considering for a possible career or graduate study.
Village Elementary School students in grades one through three took part in "Jump Rope for Heart" in late February and raised more than $10,000 for the American Heart Association. The event was held at the Holmdel school and co-sponsored by the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance. The 770 students jumped rope throughout the day in the school's gymnasiums.
Jesse Orbach, Hazlet, received a bachelor of arts degree in business management and was named to the dean's list for the spring semester at Monmouth University, Long Branch, at its spring commencement exercises. While at the school, he played football all four years and won two NEC championships, and received the Coaches Award in his last season. A graduate of Raritan High School, Hazlet, he is the son of Ruth and Kenny Orbach.

Heather Jakub, New Monmouth section of Middletown, has been named to the dean's list for the fall semester at Castleton (Vt.) State College.
Ryan F. McQuade, Aberdeen, has been named to the dean's list for the fall semester at College of the Holy Cross, Worcester, Mass., where he is a freshman majoring in economics and Chinese. He is the son of Donna and Frank McQuade.
Hazlet resident Alex Orbach has been named to the dean's list for the fall semester at Stevens Institute of Technology, Hoboken, where he is majoring in mechanical engineering. A graduate of Raritan High School, he is the son of Ruth and Kenny Orbach.
Nicole Ricchione, Hazlet, has been named to the dean's list for the fall semester at Ramapo College of New Jersey, Mahwah, where she is also a Bloustein Scholar. She is a graduate of Raritan High School.
Amanda Sansevere, West Keansburg section of Hazlet, was named to the dean's list for the fall semester at Ramapo College of New Jersey where she is majoring in history and pursuing certification in secondary education. She is also a member of Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society, and a catcher for the Ramapo Roadrunners. A 2005 graduate of Raritan High School, she is the daughter of Adria and Bob Sansevere.
