The engineering and planning firm T&M Associates, Middletown, has announced the promotion of Eric E. Nathanson, Long Branch, to principal environmental scientist. Nathanson has more than 10 years' experience in environmental and land use planning, and will oversee environmental permitting activities and gaining approvals for various projects. Nathanson received a bachelor of science degree in marine biology at The Richard Stockton College, Pomona.

Jaclyn J. Flor, Oceanport, has been promoted to principal engineer and will be responsible for the management of general, civil, and municipal engineering design and administration of projects.

Flor has seven years' experience in municipal and civil engineering, and has been active on municipal design projects in Matawan, Red Bank, and other towns. She received her bachelor of science degree in civil engineering at Florida Institute of Technology, Melbourne. She is a licensed professional engineer in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, a licensed professional planner in New Jersey, and a certified municipal engineer in New Jersey.

David M. Marks, Tinton Falls, has also been promoted to principal engineer, responsible for the management of public/municipal projects in central New Jersey. Marks has more than five years' experience in various engineering disciplines, such as water resources and civil engineering. He received his bachelor of science degree in civil engineering at Rowan University's College of Engineering, Glassboro. He is a licensed professional engineer in New Jersey and is certified by the New Jersey Society of Asphalt Technologists.

Richard M. Maser, president and CEO of Maser Consulting P.A., Red Bank, has been chosen as a Fellow of Leadership New Jersey for 2007, which honors men and women who combine a career with leadership serving the community. Fellows are chosen from private, public and nonprofit sectors.

Maser, a Long Branch resident, serves on the boards at the Community YMCA, Red Bank, and the American Red Cross Jersey Coast Chapter, Tinton Falls. A graduate of Newark College of Engineering, he founded Maser Consulting P.A. in 1984. He is a licensed professional engineer, professional planner and certified municipal engineer.

Denise Rosato, Union Beach, a retail customer support specialist at Verizon Wireless, Morristown, has received the company's President's Award for Excellence for exceptional teamwork, leadership and outstanding customer service. Rosato earned the award for superior service to customers at the Hazlet Verizon Wireless Communications store. She was one of five Verizon employees to receive the President's Award.

The Friendly Sons of St. Patrick of the Jersey Shore will honor pediatrician Michael J. Cahill, M.D, Spring Lake, as "Irishman of the Year" at its 34th annual dinner March 16 at 6:30 p.m. at Doolan's, Spring Lake Heights. The Sons will also honor U.S. Representative Chris Smith, and Charles McCague, Navesink section of Middletown.

Smith will receive the Commodore John Barry Award for years of dedicated service on behalf of the nation's veterans of the armed forces. McCague will receive The Order of St. Brendan Award that goes to "a native-born Irishman who has enhanced the lustre of our heritage."

Cahill is a member of the staff at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, and a member of the teaching staff for the department of pediatrics. Congressman Smith is the former chairman of the House Veterans Affairs Committee. First elected in 1980, he serves the Congressional District that includes parts of Mercer, Ocean, Burlington and Monmouth counties. McCague, a native of Knockatallon, County Monaghan, Ireland, graduated from Regional Technical College, Dundalk, and was employed as a civil engineer for a construction company in Ireland. He founded HMC Associates Inc., approximately 20 years ago. He is a longtime member of The Friendly Sons.

T&M Associates, Middletown, has announced the hiring of John C. Jennings, P.P., AICP, as principal planner for the company's planning division. Jennings has more than 31 years' experience in professional planning. Prior to joining T&M, the Freehold resident prepared traffic impact studies for transit villages, worked on traffic modeling and analysis for various facilities, and developed various applications for facilities in Cranberry and South Brunswick. He received a bachelor of arts degree in political science at Rider College, Lawrenceville; and master of science degree in political science at Rutgers University Graduate School.

The Central Jersey Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners will hold its annual membership drive and networking meeting March 12 from 6-8 p.m. at Stacy Gemma, The Grove, 597 Route 35, Shrewsbury. As part of the drive, the $25 administrative fee will be waived for members joining during March.
