Holmdel Half Century Club lecture March 29

The Holmdel Half Century Club will host the free lecture "History of Holmdel," presented by town historian Linda Madge March 29 at 7 p.m. Cake and coffee will be served in celebration of Holmdel's 150th anniversary.

The film "The solid Gold Cadillac" with Judy Holiday and Paul Douglas will be shown April 2 at 1 p.m. at Hazlet Multiplex Cinema. Cost is $1 per person for the movie, popcorn and soda. The Club will meet April 3 at noon, and a nurse will be available. A computer class at Indian Hill School will be April 5 from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Class will be every Thursday. Drop-in day will be April 5 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m., with line dancing from 2-3 p.m. A trip to see "Juke Box Live" at the Tropicana, Atlantic City, will be April 11 departing at 10 a.m. Cost is $40, with $20 returned. Cost covers transportation, buffet and the show. An anniversary luncheon will be April 17 at noon at the Molly Pitcher Inn, Red Bank. Cost is $48 for nonmembers, and $28 for members, and includes a choice of entree, glass of wine, and music by DJ Joey.

A cooking class with Antoinette will be April 18 at 11 a.m. Cost is $5 in advance. A trip to the King Tut Exhibit in Philadelphia will be April 24 departing at 9 a.m. Cost is $80 for transportation, lunch and audio tour. Social night will be April 27 from 6:30-11 p.m. Cost is $18 for a buffet, music and dancing. Attendees must bring soft drinks if wishing to do so.
