Lloyd Road School club to plant trees April 28

Lloyd Road Elementary School environmental club will celebrate Arbor Day by plantings 100 trees at the school April 28 at 1 p.m.

The effort is in partnership with the New Jersey Tree Foundation. The club, along with parent and community volunteers, will plant the trees and maintain the trees for a minimum of two years. This includes watering and pruning the trees. The club obtained the free tree seedlings from the New Jersey Tree Foundation as part of its Celebrate Arbor Day/Make a Difference Day with Trees project.

For more information, call Barbara or Daisy at (732) 290-2760.
