Scholar-in-residence program April 27, 28

Temple Shalom, 5 Ayrmont Lane, Aberdeen, will present the Morris and Rose Goldfeder scholar-in-residence program April 27 and 28.

Speaker will be Rabbi Peter S. Knobel of Beth Emet of The Free Synagogue, Evanston, Ill., and president of the Central Conference of American Rabbis. He will present "Modern Ethical Dilemmas" April 27 and 28, beginning with "What Does Judaism Have to Contribute to the Debate on Bioethics: The Case of Stem Cell Research" April 27 following 8:15 p.m. worship. "Cloning: Is One of Me Enough?" will be presented April 28 at 11 a.m., "Is Physician-Assisted Suicide a Jewish Option?" at 2 p.m., and "Universal Health Care - A Jewish Perspective" at 3:30 p.m.
