Fish dinner, strawberry fest in Matawan June 9 The First Baptist Church of Matawan and The Eastern Star Chapter, Matawan, will hold their annual events June 9. The Eastern Star Chapter will hold a fish dinner 5-7 p.m. at the Masonic Temple, 192 Main St., Matawan. The First Baptist Church will hold its annual strawberry festival 5-9 p.m. at 232 Main St. (rain or shine). The festival includes five different strawberry desserts. Live music will be performed by The Greg Ford Memorial Strawberry Festival Band (honoring the late entertainer), Farmer's Almanac, and Erik Vagen of NJ Live Musicians.
