'Revival' exhibit now at Aberdeen gallery
U Frame It - Custom Picture Framing, 1007-O Route 34, Aberdeen, is exhibiting "Revival," photos by artist-photographers Koryn Morrissey and Realf Schermer through Labor Day. The show will exhibit large format digital and film images such as circus roses, New Jersey landscapes, and images of Paris. The combined exhibition is the first pairing for the married couple from Englewood.
'Ethics of Public Service' at BCC June 15
Assemblywoman Amy Handlin (R-13) and Brookdale Community College (BCC) will co-host "The Ethics of Public Service - A Training for 13th District Municipal Officials" June 15 from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The training will be in room 105 at the main academic north (MAN) building, 765 Newman Springs Road, Lincroft section of Middletown.
The program will include Susan Jacobucci, director of local government services, Department of Community Affairs; Scott Fagerty, special programs analyst in the Election Law Enforcement Commission; and Maite Urtasun, assistant compliance officer from the Compliance Section of Election Law Enforcement Commission. Oral history talk at Vietnam Memorial June 23
The New Jersey Vietnam Veterans' Memorial Foundation, Holmdel, will host an oral history discussion June 23 at 1 p.m. Chuck Welsh, Howell, will present "From the Rice Paddies to the Principal's Office." Welsh is a Vietnam veteran and middle school principal. He was awarded three Purple Heart medals for wounds sustained in combat, and was reassigned Hawaii, where he finished his military obligation. He taught at Freehold Regional High School District 26 years, joined Howell Township schools in 2000 and was named principal of Howell Memorial Middle School in 2004.
