'Learn to Swim' courses begin at Y June 18

The Community YMCA Family Health and Fitness Center, 166 Maple Ave., Red Bank, will offer "Learn to Swim" week June 18-23 for children age 3-17.

The water safety lessons are designed as a community outreach program for non-swimmers who aren't members of the Y. Courses for children age 3-5 and 6-17 will be offered June 18-22 from 10:30-11 a.m., 3:30-4 p.m., 4-4:30 p.m. or 4:30-5 p.m. at a cost of $10. A one-day program will be June 23 from 9-9:45 a.m., 9:45-10:30 a.m. or 10:30-11:15 a.m. at a cost of $5.
