Sculpture to touch exhibition opens June 22

Monmouth Museum will host an exhibition of sculpture to touch June 22-Aug. 19 presented by the Sculptors' Association of New Jersey. An opening reception will be June 22 from 6-8 p.m. The museum is on the campus at Brookdale Community College, Newman Springs Road, Lincroft section of Middletown.

The exhibit is geared toward visually impaired audiences, and audio descriptive devices will be available with information about the artwork. Attendees may be created from household items at a family sculpture workshop June 24 from 2-3 p.m. A panel discussion with various exhibiting artists will be July 15 at 3 p.m.

Museum admission is $6, and free for members, Brookdale students and staff with valid ID, and children younger than age 2. Museum hours are Tuesday-Saturday from 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. For more information, call the museum at (732) 747-2266 or visit www.monmouthmuseum.org.
