Sign up by June 26 for Platzl Brauhaus trip The Aberdeen Township Recreation Department has scheduled a trip for senior citizens age 55 and older to Platzl Brauhaus, Pomona, N.Y., Aug. 22. Deadline for residents to sign up is June 26, and nonresidents may sign up after the deadline (space permitting). Buses will depart at 8:30 a.m. from the parking lot of Temple Shalom, Ayrmont Lane and Church Street, and at 8:45 a.m. from the parking lot of the A&P shopping center, Route 35, Cliffwood section of Aberdeen. Buses will return home at approximately 8 p.m. Cost is $45 for nonresidents and $38 for residents and includes a barbecue for lunch and dinner, three hours of live music, casino-style games and use of Platzl's recreational facilities.
