Center announces blood drives scheduled for July Central Jersey Blood Center, Shrewsbury, has announced the following local blood drives: + July 5 from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Bayshore Community Hospital, 727 N. Beers St., Holmdel + July 14 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at St. Clement's Roman Catholic Church, 172 Freneau Ave., Matawan + July 14 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Matawan Masonic Lodge, First Baptist Church, 232 Main St., Matawan + July 16 from 5-8 p.m. at Bayshore Fitness & Wellness, 1420 Route 36, Hazlet + July 17 from 5-9 p.m. at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 26 Leonardville Road, New Monmouth section of Middletown (free T-shirts for all donors) + July 30 from 4:30-8 p.m. at St. John United Methodist Church, 2000 Florence Ave., Hazlet. The donation process takes about an hour. Donors must also complete a medical history interview and have a mini-physical (temperature, iron, pulse and blood pressure screening). Interested donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 120 pounds and be in good health. All donors must present signature ID at time of registration.
