Heath Farm to host WWII exhibits July 7

The Heath Farm Historical Site, in cooperation with the 102nd Cavalry Squadron World War II Reenactment Unit, will present a World War II Living History Event on July 7.

Visitors can walk through the encampment, view displays of the WWII GI, see how the soldiers lived and camped in the field, what they wore, the types of weapons used and a display of military vehicles. There will be video presentations available in Heath Farm's new Multi Media Pavilion.

This is a free program and all are invited to attend. The public is also invited to come and tour the former Gertrude Neidlinger Spy House collection, the Heath family farm artifacts, a unique live honey bee colony and the newly renovated Bo Heath Nature Trail.

The event will take place at the Heath Farm, 219 Harmony Road, Middletown, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, contact Walter Spradley at the Heath Farm at (732) 671-0566, or Dr. William Anania, 102 CAV Squadron WWII Unit, at (732) 671-3939.
