Vendors, crafters sought for 'SharkFest'

The Matawan Alliance is seeking sponsors and vendors for the second annual "SharkFest," July 21 from 4-9 p.m. at Terhune Park, Main and South Streets (rain date July 22). Fees are $75 for nonfood and $95 for food vendors. Handcrafted items only are requested from crafts vendors. The free event will feature guest presenter Dr. Richard Fernicola, author of "The Twelve Days of Terror," an airing of The Discovery Channel-produced "Twelve Days of Terror," educational presentations by Dive Voyager and The Shark Institute, fossil shark tooth digging for kids, music, food and crafters.
