      The Hazlet Hawks 12U girls fast pitch travel softball team won the Bergen Blast tournament during the weekend of June 30-July 1. The team's combined record for the tournament was 5-0, including a 17-4 win over the Franklin Lakes War Eagles to clinch first place for the six-team event.
