Pipe work to cause detours HOLMDEL - New Jersey Natural Gas (NJNG) announced last week that it will be replacing a section of pipeline on Newman Springs Road between Old Mill Road and Clover Hill Lane in the months ahead. The project began Monday, and is expected to be completed by mid-October, according to a company press release. During the construction, alternating lanes will be used during work hours to facilitate the flow of traffic. The pipeline being upgraded provides natural gas for distribution to customers throughout Monmouth and Ocean counties. Service will not be impacted as a result of the work being done, according to the release. This replacement project is a part of NJNG's ongoing maintenance program to ensure the reliability of its pipeline infrastructure.
