Deadline Aug. 17 to register for arts camp Registration is under way for the Monmouth County 4-H arts camp for children in grades K-12 Aug. 24-26 at noon at Camp Nomoco, Turkey Swamp Park, Freehold Township. Deadline to register is Aug. 17. Youth may register for the entire weekend with sleepover in wooden platform tents, or daily for one or more days. Activities include drama, puppetry, music, movement, art, writing, and nightly reviews and campfire gatherings. Teen leadership camp counselor opportunities are available.
