Penn State asks, Who ya gonna call?
Research group seeks supernatural cases for new A&E series
Is there something strange in your neighborhood? If so, Penn State University's Paranormal Research Society (PRS) may be able to help. A student club sanctioned by the university, the PRS has gained nationwide recognition by working across the country with authorities and families that have encountered inexplicable paranormal phenomenon. Now, the PRS is looking for local cases of the supernatural for a new, real-life series for the A&E Television Network, according to a press release from A&E.

The new series will follow the lives of Penn State student Ryan Buell and other student members of PRS, which is one of the first university-sanctioned paranormal research societies in the country, as they seek to find the truth behind real-life mysteries, the press release said.

In each episode, parties ranging from the Catholic Church to ordinary families - who are all troubled and sometimes even terrified by unusual events - contact the PRS for help.

The PRS works on cases that include poltergeists, hauntings and the darkest areas of the unknown, according to the press release.

For the series, Buell and the PRS are currently looking for local paranormal cases. Not only can the team help solve area supernatural concerns, but all cases will also have a chance of getting broadcast on national television.

Potential cases for the PRS can be emailed to Pahaunted@yahoo.com.
