Public asked to support Hill for Monmouth Co. sheriff Belmar Chief of Police Jack Hill is the Democratic nominee for Monmouth County sheriff. I am thrilled with the news. His educational credentials are outstanding, having earned his graduate degree in administrative science, and he is also a graduate of the FBI National Academy. In addition, he is a state certified public manager and is certified by the Police Chiefs Association as a law enforcement executive.
His law enforcement background is just as impressive, having served as a police officer for the past 27 years, the last four as chief of police in Belmar.
If elected, Chief Hill said he would qualify some jail facilities at the municipal level, so local officers don't continually make prisoner runs to the Freehold county jail. He will establish dispatch centers throughout the county to make the 911 system more efficient.
I know Chief Hill very well through his efforts with the Monmouth County Human Relations Commission to improve the relationship between police and community. His focus will be officers and public safety, fiscal accountability and improved relationships with municipalities.
Chief Hill will continue the tradition of outstanding sheriffs in Monmouth County.
I urge all who are qualified to vote in this year's November general election to vote for Chief Jack Hill for Monmouth County sheriff.
