Historical Society to present talk, Victorian tea

Keyport Historical Society will host "New Jersey Historical Divers" presented by Dan Lieb Oct. 1 at 7:30 p.m. at Steamboat Dock Museum, Broad Street, Keyport. Lieb is president of the New Jersey Historical Divers Association. He will present a look at the world of diving and discovering historic shipwrecks. Light desserts and refreshments will be available at the free presentation. The 11th annual Victorian tea and fashion show, "Tea on the Titanic" will be Oct. 20 from 1-4 p.m. at Keyport Yacht Club, 115 First St. Vintage clothing will be modeled by the Performing Arts Ensemble featuring Jackie LaPolla. There will also be tea, various sandwiches, desserts, gifts and a raffle. Guests are encouraged to bring a favorite hat. Tickets are $20 each, and seating is limited.
