Black/Hispanic Achievers slate Sept. 27 kickoff

The Community YMCA Black/Hispanic Achievers Program will hold the second annual YMCA "Black/Hispanic Achievers" kickoff Sept. 27 at 6:30 p.m. at Monmouth Museum at Brookdale Community College, Newman Springs Road, Lincroft section of Middletown.

Keynote speaker will be Darryl Walls. He is the author of "Leadership Defined," and founder and CEO of MINDS, Mental Intensity Naturally Determines Success, a leadership development company. The event is open to the public and will also include an exhibition from the New Jersey Water Color Society.

The Community YMCA Black/Hispanic Achievers program meets bi-weekly at the area locations of Count Basie Achievement Center, Red Bank, and The Long Branch Public Library.
