'Parenting Your Teenager' begins Oct. 2

Lincroft Presbyterian Church (LPC) will host "Parenting Your Teenager: Building a Positive Relationship With Your Teen" Oct. 2 from 7-8:30 p.m. at Middletown Township Public Library, 55 New Monmouth Road. The series will continue Oct. 9, 16 and 23 at the church at West Front Street and Everett Road, Lincroft section of Middletown.

The four-part discussion series is designed to help parents communicate with teens. Series topics include identity questions, emotional turmoil, rebellion, and communication. The group will feature video presentations by authors and counselors Drs. Les and Leslie Parrott. Facilitators are schoolteacher and parent of teenagers Jill Humann, Middletown, and Rev. Brian Croak of LPC. Light refreshments and handouts will be available.
