Relative extends thanks to fundraiser supporters Iwould like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who worked on the VFW Post 2179 fundraiser for my grandson, Riley Franklin. I would especially like to thank the committee who worked so hard to put this fundraiser together, Dennis and Dolores Beauregard, Pat Lipka and Jim D'Elia. A special thanks also to our post commander, Brody Force, and to our Ladies Auxiliary president, Joan McLaughlin. Our sincere appreciation to Marge Kempson, who prepared all the food, and to her helpers, Peg and Ben Centrella. Thanks to Mary Reed, Eileen Allan, and Peg Centrella who helped serve the food; to Charles Gallagher, our post hall manager, for all his help; and last but not least, to all those who set up and cleaned up after the fundraiser. In addition, I would like to thank all the area business merchants who donated gifts for our gift auction, and friends who donated gifts also.
