Training begins Oct. 18 for 2nd Floor volunteers The 2nd Floor youth helpline of 180 Turning Lives Around Inc., Hazlet, is seeking individuals age 18 or older interested in becoming trained volunteers to offer guidance and help adolescents in the community. 2nd Floor is a toll-free helpline dedicated to youth issues and addresses issues such as peer relationships, substance abuse, and dating relationships. Training will be held in West Keansburg beginning Oct. 18 at 6 p.m. It involves 40 hours of combined classroom and "on the job" shadowing sessions.
