Talk on 'Helicopters at War' at center Oct. 20

The New Jersey Vietnam Veterans; Memorial Foundation will host a lecture and slide show, "Helicopters at War: Vietnam to Iraq," Oct. 20 at 1 p.m. The program will be at the Vietnam Era Educational Center, Holmdel.

Helicopter pilot and Iraq war veteran Lt. Col. Mark A. Preston, N.J. Army National Guard will present the program. Preston was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in 1986, and has more than 1,400 flight hours of rotary wing experience in helicopters such as the Cobra and Black Hawk.

A $5 per person donation is suggested, and attendees are asked to R.S.V.P. to (732) 335-0033.
