Rabies, flu/pneumonia clinics in Hazlet, A'deen

Hazlet-Aberdeen Health Department will conduct a rabies clinic Oct. 20 from 9 a.m.-noon. The free clinic will be at the Department of Public Works, Leocadia Court, Hazlet. Dogs must be on a leash, and cats must be in carriers.

The Health Department will hold flu/pneumonia immunization clinics for individuals age 18 or older Oct. 23 from 3- 4:30 p.m. at Aberdeen Township Hall, 1 Aberdeen Way; and Oct. 30 from 10 a.m.- noon at Cullen Center, 1776 Union Ave., Hazlet. Fee is $20 for flu immunizations, and $25 for pneumonia. The health department will bill Medicare directly for individuals covered by Medicare part b; HMOs will not be accepted. Individuals should bring Medicare cards. Appointments are not necessary.
