Robert "Bob" J. DeLisle

Mr. DeLisle, 81, of Middletown, died Oct. 14, 2007, at Arnold Walter Nursing Home, Holmdel. He was a retired employee of Bell Labs, Holmdel, where he was employed 39 years. He served with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Antietam during World War II. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church at Red Bank-Tower Hill. He was predeceased by his wife, Alverna M. in 1994. He is survived by his companion Jean Walton; a brother, Harold of Boulder, Colo.; and a sister, Carol Myers of East Brunswick. A memorial gathering will be Oct. 17 from 1-2 p.m. at Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
