Artie Connaughton Mr. Connaughton, 55, of Matawan, died Oct. 3, 2007, at Victoria House, Matawan. Born in Queens, N.Y., he relocated to Matawan 23 years ago. He was a stagehand for 39 years at Lincoln Center for Performing Arts, and shop steward for 14 years at Alice T. Hully Hall, Lincoln Center, New York City. He was a member of Local 1 International Alliance of Theater Stage Employees (IATSE). He enjoyed hiking, camping, golf and skiing. He was predeceased by his parents, Edith and Arthur Connaughton; and a sister, Angelique Hewitt in 1986. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Nora McCue Connaughton; and his children, Megan, Cara and Logan, all at home. Arrangements were by Waitt-Nelms Funeral Home, Morganville.
